Alexander Fisher Recruitment was conceived over 10 years ago as a construction and industrial recruitment agency by husband and wife team Jeremy and Heather Fisher.

Their respective backgrounds and experience in on-site construction and sales provided the perfect combination. The agency has expanded
in recent years to incorporate a total of six specialist divisions: Construction, Crane/Plant, Industrial, Generalist, Medicals and Builders Clean.

Our honesty and commitment in recruiting the right candidate has resulted in both client and potential candidate loyalty. We don't bombard you with irrelevant CVs so you think we are working hard, we love what we do and get satisfaction from placing the right candidate in a role.

We cover the following: Contract Lifts, Permanent Crane Staff, Lifting Personnel (including Heavy Plant Operators) Appointed Persons, Crane Lift Supervisors, Banksman, Crane Drivers, Tower Crane Operatives, Office Staff, Transport Managers, Plant Hire Managers, Yard Staff and anyone else connected to the big boys toys!

Candidate requirements

We expect all our candidates to have the high levels of skill, knowledge and initiative needed to hit the ground running.

Our Candidate vetting procedures meet and exceed the UK legal requirements. The following checks are completed wherever possible
and relevant for all Alexander Fisher applicants: employment history, references, CRB checks (where required), CSCS or other relevant qualifications, DVLA checks.

Employment checking procedures are complicated and lengthy so we ensure we carry out a thorough check of what is required for each profession. We insist that all candidates have a good knowledge of the English language so that you and they are able to communicate effectively. This is imperative for Health and Safety.

Staff Retention

To get the best long term outcomes for our business clients and recruits, our determination and energy to find ‘the best fit’ for both parties ensures good long term prospects for both.
